How long will my facelift results last?
A facelift is designed to downplay the signs of aging you already have, as opposed to preventing future signs of aging. Generally, facelift results can last ten years or more, but of course you may show signs of aging earlier based on factors like genetics, lifestyle, sun exposure, smoking, etc. But one thing is for sure - ten years from now, you will look better than you would have if you hadn't had the facelift. It is not uncommon for patients to have a second facelift 15 years or more following the first. Will my facelift scars be noticeable?
It is my job to not only give you great facelift results, but to make the results look like you haven't had a facelift - natural and subtle. The incisions are placed in inconspicuous areas and designed to blend into the skin as they fade.
How long until I am back to normal after a facelift?
You should be back to normal in just a few weeks - most patients can plan on returning to work in two to three weeks, although strenuous activity and exercise may be limited beyond that. We can give you a more accurate timetable once we have a better understanding of your body and healing potential.
What are the risks involved with the facelift procedure?
There are some risks you should be aware of in moving forward with the facelift procedure. Complications may include:
