As much, if not
more, care is done to avoid scars and to hide them
as much as possible for cosmetic surgery is still
not as accepted in males as females.
Blepharoplasty or Eyelid surgery is essentially
identical to that described elsewhere. I try and
limit the incisions that I use to maximally hide
the scars, either in the upper eyelid crease or
along the lower eyelid margin. I can also remove
the muscles that cause frowning through an upper
eyelid incision as well as “shave” down
the prominent bones of the eyebrow area.
